Maintaining the privacy of the information you share with us in the process of doing business with Maple Capital Management is extremely important to us. When you engaged Maple Capital Management, you entered into a relationship that is built and dependent upon mutual trust. How and Why We Obtain Personal Information

We consider that any nonpublic, personal information that is provided to any representative of Maple Capital Management in the course of a business transaction as being completely confidential.

We may disclose all of the information above to third parties with which you or we contracted for services, as permitted by law. Examples of these organizations include the following:

  • Your attorney or accountant, upon your authorization
  • If you were introduced to us by a broker-dealer, then the broker-dealer
  • Third parties that administer and support our products and services (such as third party administrators, system vendors, consultants). We will contractually require these third parties to protect your information.

In addition, we will always disclose your information in accordance with your specific instructions

We may disclose all of the information above, under certain circumstances to government agencies and law enforcement officials (such as periodic examinations by the Securities and Exchange Commission, state securities examiners, etc.).

We will not sell nonpublic personal information about you, our clients – or our former clients – nor will we disclose it to anyone, unless we have previously informed you in disclosures or agreements, have been authorized by you, and are permitted to do so by law.
